Which poster for which rule
Put up only the one that is true at your pump.
| Your rule | Poster |
|---|---|
| No credit to anyone | 1 or 2 |
| Credit to known customers, up to a limit | 3 or 6 |
| Credit, with a slip for every fill | 4 |
| No new credit until old dues are paid | 5 |
How to print and put them up
- Print on A4 at "Actual size" or 100%, not "Fit". Black and white is fine.
- For a larger sign, print at A3: the text stays sharp.
- Fix it at eye level, on the customer's side of the office counter. A clear plastic sleeve keeps it clean.
- Tell your nozzle men and cashier the same sentence in words: see how to refuse udhar politely.

Where Khata Kavach fits
A poster tells customers your rule. Khata Kavach checks the limit at the nozzle: you set each transporter's limit in rupees, and the nozzle man's phone shows a green, amber or red light before fuel goes in. Khata Kavach never lends and never holds money. See how to set a limit and a customer over the limit.
Questions people ask
01Udhar band hai poster kahan se download karein?
Use the links above. Each poster is a PDF to print on A4, with no sign-up, in a Hindi and an English version.
02Udhari mana hai poster ke badle kya polite likhein?
Say what you do, not only what you refuse: "Credit only up to the agreed limit" or "Old account clear, then new credit". Posters 3 to 6 and the slogans below are written that way.
03Aaj nakad kal udhar ka matlab kya hai?
It is an old trader's sign: cash today, and credit is always one day away. Poster 2 uses it with a polite line under it.
04Can I add my pump's name or change the words?
The PDFs cannot be edited. Copy a slogan from this page into your own sign or give it to your printer, or write your pump's name on the print with a marker.
05Will a poster stop customers asking for udhar?
No. It gives your nozzle men and cashier a rule to point to. They still need kind words: see how to say no to udhar.
